Ferro Having Himself a Nice WSOP

Richard Ferro is a name you probably haven't heard before, but remember it -- he's one heck of a tournament player.

Just yesterday, Ferro registered a 12th-place finish in the $2,000 Pot-Limit Hold'em event, good for a $10,902 payday.

Today, Ferro has amassed a sizeable chip stack (nearing 20,000, almost double the average), and is likely to make it through to Day 2.

Ferro told us he's played a couple of circuit events this year with minimal success, but has seemed to turn things around when it counts. Keep an eye on his progress throughout the night, as he attempts to cash in back-to-back events.
