It's the final day of action at the Wynn Summer Classic with the last two events taking place.

The first event will be the $600 No Limit Hold'em, starting at midday, local time. This event has a 30,000 starting stack and 30-minute blind levels. The event also comes with a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000.

Late registration for this event remains available until around 6:00 p.m.

The second event of the day also has a $50,000 guarantee. This is the $600 No Limit Hold'em Turbo. The only differences between this event and the previous one are the quicker, 20-minute blind levels and a kickoff of 6:00 p.m.

The late registration for the turbo event is a lot shorter due to the faster blind clock. So, it should close at around 9:00 p.m.

Less than one month after final tabling the WSOP Seniors Championship, finishing fourth for $254,000, Christopher Bucceri has bagged himself a shiny Wynn trophy after victory last night.

He won the $600 NLH Turbo for $19,330, defeating Trevor Lewis heads-up.

In one of the last chances to win a Wynn Summer Classic trophy, Eli Karp emerged victorious.

The final $1,100 No Limit Hold'em of the festival attracted 279 players for a prize pool of $272,025. Thirty-five players were paid, with Karp earning $55,484 for defeating Antuan Bunkley heads up.

Bunkley earned $37,461 while Richard Bennett took $28,370 for third place.

From here on out, the last four events of the Wynn Summer Classic will be $600 buy-in events.

Today is the penultimate day of the Wynn Summer Classic and there are just two events on the agenda.

The first event will be the $600 No Limit Hold'em, starting at midday, local time. This event still has the same 30,000 starting stack and 30-minute blind levels of the $1,100 buy-in version of the event, so it is giving you a lot more play per dollar of your buy-in. The event also comes with a guaranteed prize pool of $50,000.

Late registration for this event remains available until around 6:00 p.m.

The second event of the day also has a $50,000 guarantee. This is the $600 No Limit Hold'em Turbo. The only differences between this event and the previous one are the quicker, 20-minute blind levels and a kickoff of 6:00 p.m.

The late registration for the turbo event is a lot shorter due to the faster blind clock. So, it should close at 9:00 p.m., give or take a little for late starts or any stoppage time.

Friday's edition of the $1,100 No Limit Hold'em Turbo at the Wynn Summer Classic got 226 entries.

The resulting prize pool of $220,350 far outstripped the $100,000 guarantee and resulted in $48,000 up top for first place.

Scott Bohlman defeated Miguel Faria Lopes heads up to win the event, earning the top prize and a Wynn Summer Classic trophy. Lopes won $31,935 for his second place finish.

Julian Yasin came third, winning $26,890.

Emmanuel Derecho earned a nice payday at the Wynn Summer Classic, taking down the $1,100 Pot-Limit Omaha event for $64,073.

The one-day event attracted 311 entrants who collectively put up a prize pool of $303,225.

Ultimately, Derecho beat David Van Hollebeke heads up to win the trophy.

Van Hollebeke earned $43,716 for his second-place finish, while Sergio Andres Torres Espinosa filled the last podium spot, earning $32,387 for a third-place finish.

This marks the last non-hold'em event of this year's Wynn Summer Classic, which will end on Monday.

The Wynn Summer Classic is in its last few days, with the final events kicking off this Monday.

There are two events scheduled for today, a $1,100 No Limit Hold'em event and a $1,100 No Limit Hold'em Turbo event. These are the final incarnations of these events, which have been such a backbone to the Summer Classic's schedule.

Today's events are the last of the big guarantees. Sunday and Monday's events will all have buy-ins of $600 and minimum prize pools of $50,000, but for today, there is still a pair of six-figure guarantees. The $1,100 No Limit Hold'em has a $200,000 guarantee and the turbo event has a $100,000 guarantee.

The first of these events (the non-turbo event) starts at midday, local time with 30-minute blind levels and late registration scheduled to remain open until around 4:30 p.m.

For anyone who prefers to sleep in late on the weekends, the turbo event starts at 6:00 p.m. with late registration until around 9:00 p.m.

The Turbo has shorter, 20-minute blind levels, but otherwise uses the same blind structure and starting chip stacks as the regular event.
