Dylan Lew began the hand with an open to 1,200,000 from the hijack. Michael Rocco wanted to play for more and chose to three-bet to 3,100,000 on the button. Lew made the call to keep the pot heads up.

The 8♥K♥K♠ flop led to a check from Lew. Rocco continued for 800,000, and Lew called.

Lew checked again on the 4♠ turn. Rocco fired a second salvo for 4,200,000, leaving a single green 25,000 chip behind. Lew gave it some consideration, but opted to fold as Rocco took in the pot.

Chahn Jung got the action started with an open to 1,000,000 on the button before Yanting Jiang made the call out of the big blind.

The A♠K♠Q♦ flop led to a check from Jiang. Jung chose to continue for 825,000. Jiang stuck around with a call.

Jiang checked the 4♦ turn before Jung put out a second barrel of 2,200,000. Jiang was unfazed by it and made the call.

The action hit a standstill on the 10♣ river as both players checked to go to a showdown.

Jiang showed Q♣4♣ for two pair, which was good as Jung tossed his hand into the muck, narrowing the gap between first and second in chips.

Maurice Hawkins opened to 1,200,000 from early position and Luis Yepez, who was sat to his direct left, jammed for 3,300,000. Action folded around the table and Hawkins said "Lets open it up!" He continued and said "Let's play for first and not sit around."

Hawkins stood from the table, slammed a stack of chips into the pot and flipped over his hand.

Yepez was ahead but the 6♠4♦8♠ flop saw Hawkins call for a, "Seven...seven...seven" to fall on the turn or river to give him the straight.

There was no change on the J♦ turn and 3♣ river and Yepez held with king high.

The 8♣2♠8♠ fop led to a check from Panagiotidis. Hawkins continued for 825,000 and was called by Panagiotidis.

Both players checked the 3♣ turn as the dealer peeled the 4♦ river in response.

Panagiotidis checked it over to Hawkins, who bet 3,000,000 on the river. Panagiotidis made the call to go to a showdown.

Hawkins showed 9♥9♣ for an overpair to the board. It was good as Panagiotidis mucked his hand in response.

Jiang made the call and sent them to a flop of K♣5♦10♠ before she checked.

Hawkins also checked to bring the 6♣ turn. Jiang led for 3,000,000, and Hawkins made the call.

The 8♥ river did not slow down Jiang, as she went all-in to put max pressure on her opponent. Hawkins folded to award the pot to Jiang.

Panagiotidis Gains Momentum

Chahn Jung opened from early position for 1,000,000 and Vasileios Panagiotidis three-bet to 3,300,000 from the cutoff. Jung mucked and Panagiotidis picked up the pot.

In the next hand, Panagiotidis opened to 1,000,000 from the hijack and Luis Yepez defended his big blind.

The Q♠5♠7♥ flop saw Yepez check-call a 1,000,000 bet after around 30 seconds of thinking. A 3♣ turn saw Yepez check, Panagiotidis bet a stack worth 10,000,000 to well cover Yepez's last 3,550,000 and Yepez went into the tank.

After a few minutes, Yanting Jiang called the clock and Yepez was given 30 seconds to act. He let the clock tick down untill the floor called his hand as dead, and Panagiotidis tabled his A♣7♠ for a pair of sevens.

Vasileios Panagiotidis limped from the small blind before Michael Rocco checked his option from the big blind to send them to a flop.

Both players checked through the 3♠4♠K♥ flop and the 6♦ turn to set the stage for the Q♠ river.

Panagiotidis checked again, but Rocco was done checking. Rocco opted to wager 1,000,000 on the river. Panagiotidis put in the call and found out the bad news as Rocco tabled K♦9♠ for a pair of kings to drag in the chips as Panagiotidis mucked his hand.
