Bradley Mathers in the big blind, Gary Darter in middle position, and Ian Galland in the hijack saw a flop of 2♥10♣K♦ in a three-bet pot.

All three of them checked and checked again on the Q♣ turn, bringing the 2♦ river. Mathers then fired 19,000. Darter shook his head before making the call, while Galland got out of the way.

Mathers tabled K♠K♥ for kings full of deuces, the winning full house. Darter showed Q♦Q♠ for queens full of deuces, the second-best full house.

“I’ve been playing this tournament for 20 years, and I’ve never seen that,” a player at the table said.
