Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Chahn Jung
Chahn Jung

Chahn Jung opened to 550,000 from the hijack, leaving himself just 10,000 behind. Kotaro Nakayama three-bet jammed from the cutoff and covered Jung. Action folded back to Jung to make the decision.

Jung went into the tank as there were 72 players left with a pay jump after the next bust out. After a number of minutes, the clock was called, and Jung didn't risk using the full count down before calling for his tournament life.

Chahn Jung: AJAll in
Kotaro Nakayama: QQ

Jung was behind but the A97 flop went his way. The 3 turn and 8 river was safe for Jung and he locked up the double.

Tsai's River Jam Puts Punsri into Blender

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Eric Tsai
Eric Tsai

The pot had already swelled to approximately 1,000,000 on a complete board of 4Q48K when this hand was picked up.

Eric Tsai checked his option from early position before Punnat Punsri put out a river bet of 550,000.

Tsai was unfazed and chose to check-raise all in to put it all on the line for 965,000 total.

The shove put Punsri in the blender as he shrugged and began to talk to himself and the table as he mulled over his decision.

Punsri eventually decided to fold as Tsai took down the big pot on the river without a showdown.

Farrell Pays the Bill as Kamikawa Triples and Dishongh Takes the Side

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Niall Farrell
Niall Farrell

Action broke out after Niall Farrell got the action started from the hijack. Kyle Dishongh on the button and Tomohiro Kamikawa in the big blind clashed with Farrell as all the chips got in the middle with Dishongh at risk for 1,180,000 and Kamikawa on the hook for 580,000 total.

Kyle Dishongh: QQAll in
Niall Farrell: AK

Kamikawa held the lead preflop, but with five cards to go, anything could still happen in the critical three-handed pot.

Kamikawa's pocket kings stayed in front on the 975 flop.

The 7 turn was of no use to either Farrell or Dishongh, and the 3 river sealed the deal as Kamikawa scored the triple-up.

Dishongh took the side pot to stay alive in the tournament, while Farrell was left taking the biggest hit after failing to improve on the runout.

Wooram Cho
Wooram Cho

Players were heads up with Chun Kwan sat in early position and against Wooram Cho on the button. Kwan had committed 1,350,000 to the pot with only some small change behind. Cho moved all in on the button to cover Kwan and put him at risk of elimination.

Kwan went into the tank and took a few minutes before the clock was called by Cho. There were 81 players remaining with a pay jump at 80. Kwan asked for a warning when he had 10 seconds left, and he made the call with just a few seconds left.

Chun Kwan: AKAll in
Wooram Cho: QQ

Kwan was behind, and the 4810 flop didn't improve him. He hit the rail after the 5 turn and 10 river was placed.

Just as the dealer was scooping up the pot, the dealer on the adjacent table called "payout", and there was a sweat as the dealer on Kwan's table then also seconds later said "payout". Kwan just made the pay jump by the skin of his teeth and the tank paid off, as he took home $15,491, locking up over $2,000 more than the previous payout.

Boat over Boat Results in Marchington's Demise as Stoyanov Soars

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Nick Marchington
Nick Marchington

Radoslav Stoyanov raised to 100,000 from early position, which resulted in a call from Nicholas Marchington from the next seat over.

The flop came down Q10A before Stoyanov checked. Marchington took the initiative with a bet of 165,000 before Stoyanov called.

Stoyanov checked again on the A turn before Marchington fired a second barrel to the tune of 330,000. Stoyanov once again made the call.

The 9 river led to a third check from Stoyanov. Marchington emptied the clip with a third barrel for 1,020,000, leaving only 5,000 behind. Stoyanov pounced with an all-in, and Marchington threw in his final 5,000 chip to be at risk.

Stoyanov showed AQ for a full house. Marchington revealed he also had a full house with A10 as he was coolered out of this event. Marchington took a picture of his hand and the board to document the nasty beat as he got up from his seat and exited the tournament.

Affleck and Roiter Fall to Punsri

Level 24 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
Punnat Punsri
Punnat Punsri

Punnat Punsri opened from middle position to 100,000 to get the action started. Matt Affleck three-bet to 560,000, leaving only 100,000 behind. Klemens Roiter decided to go for it with a four-bet all-in for 1,015,000 from the cutoff.

Punsri went into the tank as he looked visibly stressed over the decision. He cut out the chips for a call and continued to mull it over before he put in the chips to put Roiter at risk. Affleck flicked in his final 100,000 to put himself at risk as Roiter, Affleck, and Punsri went to a showdown.

Matt Affleck: AKAll in
Klemens Roiter: 1010All in
Punnat Punsri: JJ

Punsri was in position to score the double knockout, but Affleck was still live with his overcards, while Roiter was stuck looking for a ten.

The 483 flop was an ideal one for Punsri as his lead began to grow after the first three cards.

Punsri stayed in the lead on the Q turn, and the 4 river sealed it in his favor as both Affleck and Roiter would hit the payout desk after Punsri took down the whole pot.

Ayman Alqarqaz: AQAll in
