No Free Showdown for Mikolaitis

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

David Peters raised to 200,000 on the button, and Dominykas Mikolaitis called in the big blind and went to a flop of Q107. Action checked to the river as the board ran out 8 on the turn and the 5 on the river. Peters took a few seconds before betting 450,000 and Mikolaitis folded.

"He's Got My Initials"

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante
Kyle Julius

Fahredin Mustafov raised to 200,000 from under the gun, and Kyle Julius jammed for 590,000 from the button. Mustafov called, looking to send the tournament to the final table.

Kyle Julius: A3 All in
Fahredin Mustafov: KJ

Because Mustafov had already told Julius his hand while waiting for the other action to finish, Julius said to his fans, "He's got my initials,"

Vladas Tamasauskas asked Julius, "Is that a good or a bad thing?"

"It's got to be good," Julius replied.

His prediction proved accurate as the 33J flop gave him trip threes and a huge lead. Julius improved to a full house on the A turn, leaving Mustafov needing a jack on the river to score the knockout.

It never arrived, as the 5 completed the board, earning Julius the double-up.

A Gentleman's Agreement

Level 27 : Blinds 50,000/100,000, 100,000 ante

With the tournament on a pay jump and the final table bubble, the players asked the floor to introduce hand-for-hand play due to some excessive tanking.

The request was denied, so the players decided to take matters into their own hands. By mutual agreement, each table waited for the other to finish a hand before dealing the next one, effectively creating their own version of hand-for-hand play while the floor looked on.

At the other table, Vladas Tamasauskas made it 160,000 from under the gun, but he too folded when Fahredin Mustafov three-bet to 700,000 from the small blind.

Peters Rivers Levy

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Tzur Levy raised to 175,000 from the cutoff, David Peters called on the button, and the blinds folded.

Levy checked to Peters when the flop came 679, and Peters bet 220,000 which Levy called. The Q on the turn saw Peters fired out another bet of 550,000, and Levy called.

The K on the river saw Peters go deep into the tank when Levy checked and after a couple of minutes, Peters checked behind. Levy tabled Q10, but could not beat the rivered top pair of Peters with KJ.

Liberto Goes for Three Streets

Level 26 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Justin Liberto raised to 180,000 from under the gun, and Vladas Tamasauskas defended his big blind with a call.

The flop came 86A, and Liberto bet 115,000, which Tamasauskas called. The K on the turn saw Liberto fire out a bet of 435,000 which Tamasauskas check-called again. The Q did now stop the action and Liberto went for a third bet but this time for 580,000 and got quickly called.

Liberto tabled A9 for top pair but Tamasauskas tabled K8 for two pair and he scooped the pot.

Calvin Anderson

Dominykas Mikolaitis raised to 160,000 from under the gun, and Calvin Anderson three-bet to 390,000 from the button.

Mikolaitis check-called Anderson's continuation-bet of 320,000 on the 9K4 flop, but check-folded when Anderson fired the same sizing on the board-pairing 4 turn.

The very next hand, Anderson raised from under the gun, and Mikolaitis defended from the big blind.

Mikolaitis check-called a bet of 120,000 from Anderson on the 10Q9 flop.

Both players checked the Q turn and 8 river. Mikolaitis tabled 88 for a rivered full house to take down the pot.
