A Long Uphill Climb for Hansen

Level 16

Omaha Hi-Lo

A big three-way pot emerged on the 722103 board in which Josh Arieh bet the river out of the big blind. Gus Hansen called from under the gun and Qinghai Pan also reluctantly called as well.

Arieh tabled his A932 for deuces full of treys and Pan showed his AK54 for the low. Hansen briefly revealed his AQ62 for trip deuces and was scooped to be left with only 8,000 and in the big blind next.

"It's gonna be a long uphill climb," the Great Dane joked.

Arthur Morris then raised from under the gun and Josh Arieh didn't see the raise, briefly exposed his cards thinking that he was heads-up with Hansen already. He opted to fold before the floor arrived and they ran the all-in, in which Hansen declared he had Morris crushed.

Gus Hansen: J1072 All in
Arthur Morris: A1042

The 887Q6 board denied Hansen the scoop and he went from 8,000 to 12,000.
