Day 3 of the Wynn Summer Championship started with 64 players from a field of 1,170 players still in the action. By the end of the day, just nine remained.

With $11,466,000 in the pot, the top two spots are both worth over a million, with more than $1.8 million reserved for the first-place finisher.

Linglin Zeng led the field at the start of the day, but by the end of the day Zeng was fourth in chips. The chip lead had passed to Jans Arends with 15,225,000 in chips.

Arends has nearly double the next biggest stack at the final table. That stack is 8,475,000 and is held by Mario Quilez.

Behind Quilez is Giorgii Skhulukhiia who bagged the third biggest stack of 8,025,000.

The final table will return later today to play down to a winner.

Adrian Mateos Wins $25k High Roller

The $25,400 High Roller at the Wynn Summer Classic attracted a rarified group of just 25 players.

Adrian Mateos won the event after two days of action. With $625,000 in the prize pool and just four places paid, the top prize was $267,185.

Mateos is already the 5th on The Hendon Mob's All-Time Money list with $67.3 million. So even a prize of this size is just a drop in the ocean.

Mateos took first by defeating Jovan Kenjic heads up to earn the trophy. Kenjic earned $162,500 for second place.

The other two players to cash were Vladimir Minko, who earned $110,940 for coming third, and Barak Wisbrod, who earned $84,375 for fourth.
