Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Elan Chabi
Elan Chabi

Elan Chabi opened to 50,000 under the gun and Brandon Mueller called in the big blind.

On the Q76 flop, Chabi continued for 40,000 before Mueller check-potted to 260,000. Chabi jammed for 550,000 and Mueller snap-called.

Elan Chabi: KQJ5 All in
Brandon Mueller: Q987

Mueller had top two with a wrap and a dominated flush draw, while Chabi had top pair with overs and a better diamond draw.

The 6 turn changed nothing before the 2 landed on the river, leaving Mueller's top two pair best to eliminate Chabi in sixth.

Joseph Arena
Joseph Arena

In a four-way limped pot, action checked to the turn on a board of 8JJ10. Mark Aridgides then bet 75,000 from the big blind, and Joseph Arena moved all in for 325,000 in the hijack.

"So stupid," Aridgides said after action folded back to him, and he shook his head and begrudingly tossed in a chip to signify a call.

Joseph Arena: K10109 All in
Mark Aridgides: KJ84

Both players showed a full house, but Aridgides was ahead with jacks full. The river was the 8, and Arena was sent to the rail in seventh place.

Danny Chang limped second-to-act before Elan Chabi potted to 100,000 in the small blind. Mario Damiao called in the big blind and Chang came along as well.

On the Q94 flop, Chabi led all in for 155,000 and only Damiao called.

Elan Chabi: KQQ10 All in

Chabi had top set against the flush draw of Damiao. However, the 4 turn locked it up for Chabi who made a boat, and Damiao was drawing dead to the 6 river as Chabi collected to full double

Chang Warms Up With Tea

Level 21 : Blinds 15,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Danny Chang spilled his cup of tea all over the table, with some of it getting on neighbor Mark Aridgides. An official then arrived with a box of tissues to wipe it up.

Chang was in the big blind as Terence Beaman, Elan Chabi, and Aridgides all limped in, but he had to wait for the mess to be cleared before looking at his cards. "Clock," Aridgides joked. Chang eventually checked back.

Chabi bet 30,000 on the 9A7 flop, and only Beaman called. Both players checked the J turn, and Chabi bet another 85,000 on the 6 river. Beaman folded.

"You always make the right calls and right folds," Chabi told him.

"Professional," Mario Damiao added.

"The tea worked. I was freezing, and it's warming me up," Chang said going to the next hand, where Chabi raised to 50,000 in middle position. Chang called in the small blind.

The flop came 9A2 and Chabi continued for 50,000. Chang then raised to 275,000, and Chabi folded.

"I'm heating up," Chang said.

Brian Cole: AQJJ All in
Mario Damiao: KQ108

The turn gave Cole trips but Damiao made top boat. Cole needed an ace or jack to survive, but the river was the 9 and he was eliminated in 8th.

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Brian Cole raised to 70,000 in middle position and Mario Damiao called in the big blind.

The flop came JQ6 and Cole announced all in, but he was only allowed to bet 175,000 and left 10,000 behind. "I don't want to influence the action, but I'm probably not folding," he said to Damiao.

"We've seen crazier folds this tournament," Brandon Mueller added. Damiao eventually folded.

Mueller then opened to 50,000 in the hijack and Elan Chabi called in the cutoff. Mueller continued for 50,000 on the 1055 flop, and Chabi called.

Both players checked down the Q turn and K river, and Mueller showed AA92 to win the pot.

On the 922 flop, it checked to Aridgides who bet 60,000 and only Beaman called.

The 10 turn checked through to the 5 river which saw Aridgides check a final time to Beaman who bet 110,000 into the 350,000 pot, and Aridgides opted to lay it down after a short tank.
