Kamikawa Outkicks Meyer in Multi-Way Pot

Orit Hadas in hijack opened with a 1,300 bet. Anthony Ajlouny to her left called. Two more people, namely, Robert Meyer on the button and Seina Asagiri in the small blind, joined the fun.

Tomohiro Kamikawa in the big blind, however, defended with a 4,500 raise. Hadas called and so did Meyer while everyone else backed out of the escalating heat.

The flop came 3♦Q♥9♠. Kamikawa continued with 2,400. Hadas had seen enough and folded her hand. Meyer, had other plans, and raised to 6,000. Kamikawa asked how much he had left behind then made the call.

After a check, Meyer kept the pressure with 15,000 on the J♥ turn. Kamikawa called to see the last card.

Slowing down, both players checked the 6♣ river.

Meyer turned over K♣Q♦ for top pair on the flop but couldn't beat Kamikawa's kicker when he tabled A♦Q♣.
