With roughly 280,000 in the pot on a board of Q♣3♦8♠J♣7♦, Sasha Liu on the button fired a bet of 400,000. Kurt Watkins in the big blind with around 250,000 behind went deep into the tank before eventually making the call.

Liu instantly mucked her hand, and Watkins kept his cards face down as he was awarded the pot.

Several tablemates pointed out that both players had to table their hand, but by then the dealer had already shuffled the deck.

Even so, Watkins was kind enough to reveal that he had K♠J♠, while Liu said she had a pair.
