Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante
Tony Dunst
Tony Dunst

Cutoff Tony Dunst had made it 66,000 to go preflop with what appeared to be a four-bet. Greg Mueller called in middle position, and the duo saw the KJQ flop fanned.

Dunst continued for 50,000, which Mueller check-called. Dunst sized up to 170,000 on the 4. Mueller went deep into the tank, but check-folded after a couple of minutes to give up on the pot.

Bohn Triples Up Against Demille and Paredes

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

David Paredes raised to 18,000 and Robert Demille called. Blake Bohn then jammed for 140,000 and was called by both Paredes and Demille. On the JJ5 flop, both active players checked to the 3 turn. Paredes now bet 75,000 and Demille pushed all-in.

Paredes asked for the bet to be pulled in and how much more it was to call, which happened to be 163,000 more on top. After some consideration, Paredes folded and was quite surprised when Demille rolled over the 77.

Bohn was ahead with the KK and asked for the board to pair, which it did with the J. Bohn jumped up from his on-table massage and left the tournament area for a quick celebration.

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Steven Buckley moved all in for 32,000 under the gun, which Leo Worthington-Leese called on the button. Kevin Javier then re-jammed for around 290,000 from the small blind, which forced Worthington-Leese out.

"Don't bother writing this hand", Buckley told PokerNews, not feeling his elimination would be newsworthy.

Steven Buckley: 109 All in
Kevin Javier: AJ

"Okay, now you can write it", a backtracking Buckley confirmed, as the K8Q67 board gave him a straight and a full triple-up.

Leonardo Morales opened from under the gun and was called by Gnana Duddukuru in the small blind.

Gnana Duddukuru: KQ All in

Justin Arnwine: 55 All in

Gathy Runs Into Sandberg's Set

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Michael Gathy

Michael Gathy raised to 16,000 in middle position and Evan Sandberg three-bet to 40,000 in the cutoff. Gathy called, and they saw a flop of 4QK.

Sandberg then bet 12,000, and Gathy raised to 35,000. Sandberg called to see the 9 turn, where Gathy moved all in for 50,000. Sandberg called.

Gathy showed AA, but Sandberg had flopped a set holding QQ. The river was the 3, and Gathy was sent to the rail.

"That's good news for us," tablemate Lara Eisenberg said as the four-time bracelet winner made his exit.

Gerloff Takes Down Tsikhanskaya

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Iryna Tsikhanskaya moved all in for her last 20,000 from under the gun and saw three players call behind. Martin Gerloff called from late position, John Keller called from the cutoff and Yu-Tang Wang defended his big blind.

The 8102 flop was checked to the 5 turn and again the whole table checked to see the Q river. The action stagnated, and all players got to showdown.

Iryna Tsikhanskaya: 23All in
Martin Gerloff: QJ
John Keller: KJ
Yu-Tang Wang: A3

There was a small sweat on the flop for Tsikhanskaya, but Gerloff took the pot after picking up a queen on the river. Tsikhanskaya started as one of the smallest stacks of the day as she returned with just 15,000. She held her ground and took home $15,000 after making it through the money bubble.
