Deeb Gets Paid by Wells on the River

Level 25

No-Limit Hold'em

Shaun Deeb raised to 60,000 in the cutoff before Robert Wells three-bet to 240,000 in the small blind. Deeb called, and they saw a flop of AQ4.

Wells then continued for 125,000 and Deeb called. Both players checked the 8 turn.

Wells also checked the 3 river, and Deeb bet 225,000. Wells took a minute before calling, and Deeb turned over AJ for top pair. Wells mucked.

"I wish I had just ripped it pre and played bad," Deeb said.
