Level 40 : Blinds 1,200,000/2,400,000, 2,400,000 ante

Poker is often described as a game of skill, psychology, and patience. Yet for many players, the toughest opponent they face is not the player across the table, but their own emotional state. Few concepts illustrate this better than tilt.

Tilt is responsible for countless blown sessions, early tournament exits, unnecessary bankroll damage, and talented players quitting the game altogether. Understanding what tilt is, why it happens, and how to control it is one of the most important steps a poker player can take toward long-term improvement.

Hull and Oshana Contest a Big One; Oshana Over Nine Figures

Level 40 : Blinds 1,200,000/2,400,000, 2,400,000 ante

Johnny Oshana opened to 5,500,000 from the cutoff, and action folded around to Ryan Hull in the big blind. He stuck in the call, and the two went off to a flop of Q410.

Hull checked it over to Oshana, and he opted for a bet of 10,000,000. Hull took some time before sticking in a call.

The turn J saw Hull check again, and Oshana bet 20,000,000 very quickly. Hull yet again took quite some time before coming to a decision. He called again, and the two saw a 10 river.

Action quickly went check, check, and Hull showed KQ. Oshana had an inferior queen, but had gotten there on the turn with QJ for top two.

Level 39 : Blinds 1,000,000/2,000,000, 2,000,000 ante

The turn 8 filled Oshana up, and he faded a jack on the 7 river to secure the double, and grow his stack larger than that of Genel.
