Kevin Andriamahefa began the bidding with an open to 130,000 from early position. This led to a parade of calls from Dylan Lew in the hijack, Luis Yepez in the cutoff, Eric Tsai in the small blind, and Michal Schuh in the big blind to create a five-handed pot preflop.
It checked to Lew on the K♥3♦3♥ flop before he bet 200,000. Yepez made the call, while both blinds folded. Andriamahefa also made the call to trim the pot down to three players.
The action froze on the J♠ turn as the dealer peeled the 2♥ river. Andriamahefa checked again before Lew put out a bet of 550,000. Yepez got out of the way with a fold.
Andriamahefa had other plans as he chose to check-raise to 1,500,000 on the river. Lew gave it some consideration, but thought better of it as he folded his hand to award the pot to Andriamahefa.
