Jamasi Starting to Leak

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Big O
After five straight limp-flop-bet-fold scenarios, with Farhad Jamasi taking just two those exchanges, some real chips were pushed into a couple hands.

In the first, Jamasi limped and Sergio Benso checked.

The flop hit 3AQ and both players checked. Benso bet 600,000 on the 9 turn. Jamasi called.

When the 10 landed on the river, Jamasi fired first, betting 1,000,000 chips. That earned a takedown as Benso folded.

Those chips weren't his for long, however.

On the next hand, he raised to 600,000 preflop. Benso three-bet to 1,800,000.

Jamasi folded and was down to the fewest chips he has had all day.

Why Will Givens Has Been Absent with a Big Stack Deep in WSOP Main Event

Level 31 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Will Givens
Will Givens

Will Givens bagged a big stack on Day 5 in the WSOP Main Event, but he was mysteriously absent when play resumed Saturday morning.

It was a bit strange to see an empty chair this deep in the biggest tournament in the world, where the remaining players were playing for potentially millions of dollars. But Givens, a Will Kassouf of sorts at the poker table, had something better to do than arrive on time, he told PokerNews. Apparently, he can't crush it on the felt without the proper nutrition. More specifically, avocado toast.

Jamasi Back Where He Started

After one hour of heads-up play, there has been only one significant chip-changing hand.

With both players being at least 47 big blinds deep, the multiple split pot games, and the nature of pot-limit, this could be a lengthy battle.

The wrestling matches over blinds have played out about even, with neither player appearing to be flustered by the chance to win his first bracelet.

Interestingly, Jamasi is almost exactly where he was when the day began, when he had roughly a third of the chips.
