Zamani Jacks Up Kim, Unapologetically

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Benjamin Zamani moved all in from the small blind with 1,255,000 chips, calling John Kim's button-raise.

After Youngjin Shin got out of the way from the big blind, the hand went two ways to the flop.

Benjamin Zamani: JJAll in
John Kim: Q9

Kim begged for a queen on the flop, but it came 699 instead, which was much to his liking.

"Come on queen ... or two nines, that'll work," Kim said.

The turn brought the A, but the J fell on the river for a Zamani full house, eliciting a loud groan from Kim, much to Zamani's delight.

"Now you can apologize," he said.

Marchuet Marches Out

Level 27 : Blinds 40,000/80,000, 80,000 ante

Mikhail Zavoloka moved all in from early position.

The table folded to Pol Vela Marchuet in the big blind. He seemed to agonize over making the call to defend with his roughly equal stack, but eventually did.

Mikhail Zavoloka: J8All in
Pol Vela Marchuet: A6

Marchuet's feeling that he made the right call didn't survive the runout of 710587, as Zavoloka turned a pair of eights to take the pot, leaving Marchuet on fumes with just 50,000 chips.

With 40,000 of his chips already committed to the small blind, Marchuet moved all in for the final 10,000 when the action reached him.

Matthew Salsberg was already covering that bet from the big.

Pol Vela Marchuet: 95All in
Matthew Salsberg: Q9

The board ran out 96AQJ. With a dominated nine discounting the flop, Marchuet picked up a flush draw on the turn, but Salsberg's two pair took the hand.
