Zedan Has the Better Two Pair

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

With 65,000 already in the pot on a board of KA73, Georgie Zedan fired 27,000 from early position, and Shane Cochran called from the next seat.

The J rolled off on the river, and Zedan followed up with a bet of 30,000. Cochran raised to 80,000, and after a brief pause, Zedan made the call.

Cochran tabled KJ for a rivered two pair, but it had been second best the whole way as Zedan revealed A7 for aces up on the flop to claim the pot.

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

After two checks, Sauvola continued for 30,000 on a flop of J6Q. Chidwick was the only one to call and checked the 4 turn. Sauvola checked back.

Chidwick led out for 90,000 on the 8 river. Sauvola called with AJ for a pair and won against Chidwick's AK.

Dealer Runs the River Twice, Neither Help Zuk

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Xuan Liu
Xuan Liu

The action was joined on the turn of a K845 board, on which Matthew Zuk checked from the big blind. The action was then on Xuan Liu in the hijack, but before she acted, the dealer dealt the 2 river.

The floor was called, and they ruled that the action would continue as normal; following that, the river card would be shuffled back in and re-dealt.

Liu bet 70,000 into a pot of roughly 90,000, and Zuk responded by moving all in for 251,000, which Liu called.

Matthew Zuk: K9 All in
Xuan Liu: 55

As it turned out, the river card was irrelevant, as Zuk was already drawing dead.

The new river brought the same card, just a different suit, as the 2 completed the board.

Ganesan Finds a Call to Bust Cho

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

At a stacked table featuring Scott Blumstein, Jeremy Ausmus, and Maxime Chilaud, Wooram Cho and Ananth Ganesan. a pot of around 200,000 was built as they went to a flop of A43. Cho then moved all in for 214,000 in early position, and Ganesan tanked for several minutes before calling in middle position.

Wooram Cho: KK All in
Ananth Ganesan: A9

Ganesan found himself ahead with his pair of aces, and Cho couldn't catch up on the 7 turn or 2 river as he was sent to the rail.

"Let's go! I got my chips back, Jeremy. I won't make the same mistake this time," Ganesan said to Ausmus as he raked in the big pot.

Silva Leads Twice to Win the Pot

Level 17 : Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

With around 50,000 already in the pot, Gilles Nigro bet 14,000 from middle position, and Silva came along with a call from the big blind.

The K completed the flush, and Silva decided it was a good spot to lead for 25,000. Nigro took a few moments before making the call.

The 6 arrived on the river, and Silva led again, this time for 80,000. Nigro gave it some thought before deciding the best option was to fold, sending the pot to Silva.

No Heart For Dentan as Hinson Doubles up

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Colin Dentan opened to 17,000 from middle position and was called by Caitlin Comeskey in the cutoff, Daniel Myers on the button, and Bradley Hinson in the big blind for a four-way pot.

Hinson led out for 21,000 on the 324 flop and Dentan raised to 70,000. Comeskey and Myers folded, but Hinson called.

The A fell on the turn and Hinson checked. Dentan bet 100,000 and then called after Hinson shoved for approximately 250,000 total.

Bradley Hinson: 65All in
Colin Dentan: JJ

"Heart!" Dentan called for after seeing Hinson's straight.

It wasn't meant to be, however, as the dealer brought the 3 on the river — keeping Hinson best for the double up.

Russell Rosenblum
Russell Rosenblum

Jeffrey Tebben raised to 18,000 from under the gun and Russell Rosenblum three-bet to 160,000 on the button with only 6,000 behind. Sasha Liu in the blinds reluctantly folded and Tebben just called but already declared he was going to bet blind.

They got it in after the AJ5 flop to create the following showdown.

Russell Rosenblum: AQ All in
Jeffrey Tebben: 99

The 3 turn and 4 river were blanks for Rosenblum to double.

"I folded ace ten of spades," Liu mentioned in table chat.
