Funaro Falls to Samad

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Nicholas Funaro: A10 All in

Fabian Quoss raised to 16,000 in middle position and Evan Sandberg called in the hijack. Christopher Selami, wearing his trademark Sonic the Hedgehog toque, then three-bet to 80,000 in the small blind.

Quoss came back with a four-bet to 190,000 and Sandberg got out of the way. Selami, though, called to see the Q59 flop. Quoss then bet 100,000, and Selami again called.

Both players checked the 3 turn. Selami then led out for 150,000 on the 5 river, and Quoss folded.

Scott Lazar, the 2005 Main Event finalist, is also in this section with a stack of more than 500,000. "I'm just grateful to be here," Lazar said.

Urban Risks It All as Clock Ticks Down

Level 16 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Leonhard Beutlhauser limped in from the small blind, and David Urban raised to 33,000 in the big blind. Beutlhauser responded with a limp-jam, moving all in for more than Urban's stack of 469,000 total.

Urban went deep into the tank, with a player at the table eventually calling the clock. A tournament official came over and started Urban's countdown. As he reached three seconds, he still hadn't made a decision. In his very last second of allowed time, Urban put his chips in and was officially at risk.

David Urban: AJ All in
Leonhard Beutlhauser: A4

The 6626J board only served to improve Urban to a full house, and he scooped in a huge double-up, whilst receiving plaudits from others at the table for his call.
