Helander needed help from the board, and the flop came 9♠9♣5♣, giving him two pair. However, the Q♦ on the turn improved Benamram to a better two pair, and the 4♣ river changed nothing, bringing Helander's tournament run to an end.
Carlos Martinez on the button open-jammed for 15,000,000 and big blind Mikko Torkki called taking them to showdown.

Martinez was way ahead and had a chance to improve further when the dealer fanned out 3♥A♣K♠. The 5♠ turn was peeled. Martinez's hope of continuing the tournament was dashed when the 9♠ fell on the river giving Torkki a pair.
As Martinez shook the other players' hands, one of them said, "What is it today? Everyone's getting rivered?" Martinez just smiled and left the table as Torkki fixed his stack.
