Luu Claims Some Chips Back

Nick Pupillo completed his small blind and Hieu Luu opted to check in the big blind.

The flop came K6Q. Pupillo bet 650,000 for Luu to call.

The turn was the 5 and Pupillo slowed down by checking. Luu took a few seconds and then bet 2,800,000. Pupillo considered his options and decided to let this hand go.

Action checked to the river as the board ran out 7A9Q7. Manzano fired out a small bet of 500,000, Stroke decided on a call and then Rieder folded.

Manzano took the pot when he tabled QJ64, and Stroke mucked.

Luu Chips Up in Limped Pot

In a limped pot to the K7Q flop, it checked to Christopher Vitch in middle position. He bet 1,600,000, seeing Nick Pupillo and Hieu Luu call in the blinds.

Pupillo checked again on the J turn, but Luu took another course and led out for 6,400,000. Vitch quickly folded, but Pupillo went deep into the tank.

After a few minutes, the clock was called on Pupillo. Near the end of his 30-second countdown, he reached the same conclusion as Vitch and mucked his hand.
