Rieder Runs It

Level 34 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Andre Rieder potted to 1,400,000 under the gun, and Shawn Stroke two seats to his right made it 4,000,000 to go. Action folded back around to Rieder, who thought for a while before announcing "Let's run it," and moving all in. Stroke made the call.

Andre Rieder: J1087 All in
Shawn Stroke: AKJ5

The Q68 flop was great for Rieder, who flopped middle pair and a gutshot to take the lead. The 9 turn gave him the nuts, and he faded Stroke's flush draw on the J river to secure a massive double in an eight-figure pot.

Radoja fired a bet of 3,600,000, Pupillo moved all in for 3,825,000, and Radoja called off the rest of the chips.

Paawan Bansal: KK85 All in
Jeremy Kerbel: AQ98

"Oh, wow!" said Bansal as the cards were revealed and he was drawing slim. The board ran out 4 on the turn and the J on the river to send him to the rail.

The 2026 World Series of Poker (WSOP) kicked off back on May 26, and now it is in the home stretch as June has come to an end and the $10,000 Main Event is underway. More than 70 tournaments have awarded bracelets thus far, and the PokerNews Live Reporting team has been on-site all summer long, capturing the action.

During that time, they've reported on some entertaining hands, bad beats, and more, which we're happy to feature in the latest edition of "Hands of the Week" presented by GTOWizard.
