Trayner check-called for 3,500,000 on the Q♣6♣2♣ flop. The 10♥ turn then checked through to the 3♣ river. Trayner fired out 14,000,000 and Karakaya made the disciplined fold.
Mario Boos moved all in from the small blind, and Jamie Shaevel called for his last 16,700,000 in middle position.

Romain Lewis raised to 1,600,000 from middle position, and Greg Mueller in the cutoff three-bet to 6,000,000. It folded back to Lewis, who moved all in for 10,600,000, and Mueller snap-called.
When the cards were revealed, there was a collective sigh from the entire French rail behind Lewis.

The most classic of setups brought no help to Lewis on the Q♥10♦3♣6♣2♦ runout, and he had to settle for 17th place, good enough for a payout worth $410,475.

The next hand, Trayner and Lauri Saaskilahti went heads-up to a flop of 8♥Q♣J♥ in a limped pot between the blinds. Trayner then bet 1,000,000, and Saaskilahti called.
Both players checked the 6♠ turn. Saaskilahti then bet 4,200,000 on the 10♣ river, and Trayner quickly folded.
Shaun Deeb opened to 1,600,000 and Rami Hammoud flat-called on the button. Greg Mueller in the small blind called and Daniel Savas in the big blind made it a four-way to the A♥K♣8♣ flop.
Mueller and Savas checked to Deeb, who continued for 1,600,000. Hammoud called, whereas Mueller 10♦9♦ and Savas 4♣2♥ both folded.
The 2♣ followed on the turn, and Deeb opted to check. Hammoud used the opportunity to bet 3,000,000, and Deeb called.
That led them to the 8♦ river on which Deeb checked once more. Hammoud used one time bank card before he bet 5,000,000 and Deeb called after brief consideration. Hammoud tabled his Q♠J♣ for a bluff, and Deeb won the healthy pot with A♠10♣ for aces-up.

Hossein Ensan raised to 1,600,000 in the cutoff, and Rami Hammoud defended his big blind to a flop of K♣3♣2♠, on which Hammoud check-called for 1,500,000. The 9♥ turn was checked by Hammoud and Ensan made it 4,800,000 to go, picking up a call from the Canadian.
The 8♣ on the river completed a potential flush, and Hammoud checked the third street in a row. Ensan used one time bank to check behind, and his Q♠7♠ couldn't beat the K♦J♣ for top pair by Hammoud.
Brock Wilson raised to 1,600,000 under the gun before Michael Gagliano three-bet to 3,800,000 in middle position. Wilson folded.
Romain Lewis A♠J♦ then moved all in for 8,600,000 from under the gun. Hossein Ensan in the small blind asked for a count, but he eventually folded. Gagliano also quickly gave up his big blind.
Hossein Ensan raised to 1,600,000 next from middle position, and Rami Hammoud called in the cutoff; Thomas Clack in the big blind made it a three-way to the A♦10♥5♣ flop. Clack checked, and Ensan bet 1,500,000; Hammoud folded and Clack called.
The 7♠ followed on the turn, and Clack checked again. Ensan moved all in for 10,300,000 effective, and Clack called on the pay-jump bubble.
