Paulius Vaitiekunas Eliminated in 4th Place ($731,733)

Level 27 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Paulius Vaitiekunas
Paulius Vaitiekunas

Paulius Vaitiekunas raised to 4,000,000 on the button and left himself just 400,000 behind. Daniel Rezaei called from the big blind and then checked the 92A flop.

That action repeated itself on both the Q turn and 10 before Rezaei showed the A7 for a pair of aces. It was good as Vaitiekunas only had the K7.

In the very next hand, Vaitiekunas moved all in first to act and Jamie Dwan isolated with a raise. The other two players folded and the hands were turned up.

Paulius Vaitiekunas: 87 All in
Jamie Dwan: K10

Dwan was ahead and remained there as the board ran out a clean 46QJ10 to send Vaitiekunas home in fourth place.

Dwan and His Three Ladies

Level 27 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Jamie Dwan

After plenty of raising and tanking, predominantly from chip leader Daniel Rezaei, Jamie Dwan min-raised to 1,000,000 from under the gun. Paulius Vaitiekunas jammed from the big blind, covering Dwan, who snap-called.

Jamie Dwan: QQ All in
Paulius Vaitiekunas: KK

It was a brutal cooler between two premium pairs with play four-handed.

The flop came 4Q9, catapulting Dwan into the lead with top set. As the dealer prepared to put out the rest of the board, Dwan screamed repeatedly, "Hold, hold."

His wish was granted as the 7 turn and 7 river completed the board, giving him a full house.

Dwan erupted in celebration with his rail as he doubled to almost ten million chips.

As Dwan's stack was being counted, one of his supporters asked, "What did you have for dinner?"

"I don't know, but some ladies were there!"

Final Four Chips Counts; Slight Delay

Level 26 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

A few of the players are late returning from dinner, so there will be a delay before the start of play.

The Last Six Saves Kenney

Level 26 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Bryn Kenney

In the second to last hand before the break, Daniel Rezaei opened to 800,000 from the cutoff, and Bryn Kenney moved all in for 8,975,000. After the dealer confirmed the count, Paulius Vaitiekunas called from the small blind, sending the other two players out of the way.

Bryn Kenney: A4All in
Paulius Vaitiekunas: AA

The flop and turn ran out 66Q6, and Kenney was already up from his seat. Vaitiekunas called for a six, shouting, "six," before the river was dealt. Somehow, the last remaining six appeared on the 6 river, giving both players quad sixes with an ace kicker.

The miracle card resulted in a split pot and caused plenty of excitement and shouting around the table.

Rezaei Puts the Pressure on Kenney

Level 26 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Daniel Rezaei raised to 800,000 under the gun and Bryn Kenney three-bet to 2,350,000 from the button. Both blinds folded and Rezaei called to see the flop, which came down 10610.

Rezaei checked, Kenney bet 750,000, and the former woke up with a check-raise to 2,100,000.

Kenney called and then both players checked the Q turn.

When the 5 completed the board on the river, Rezaei bet 4,200,000 and Kenney spent a couple of minutes in the tank using his time extensions before releasing his hand.

Dwan Dodges the Draws

Level 26 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Jamie Dwan

Jamie Dwan moved all in from under the gun for 4,625,000, and Bryn Kenney reshoved from the small blind. With the big blind out of the way, the cards were turned over.

Jamie Dwan: A10All in
Bryn Kenney: KQ

The 4102J flop gave Kenney plenty of outs with both a flush draw and a straight draw, while Dwan picked up top pair. However, the 6 river completed the board without improving Kenney's hand, allowing Dwan to double up.

Rezaei Gets Paid

Level 26 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

With around 3,300,000 already in the pot, the board was fully dealt and showed Q8K35. Daniel Rezaei fired a bet of 4,600,000 from the small blind.

Jamie Dwan, on the button, went deep into the tank before eventually making the call. Rezaei tabled J4 for a flush, and it was good enough to win the pot as Dwan sent his cards into the muck. Rezaei added another healthy pot to his stack.

Josef Schusteritsch Eliminated in 5th Place ($526,030)

Level 26 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante
Josef Schusteritsch
Josef Schusteritsch

Action folded to Jamie Dwan in the small blind and he moved all in to put the pressure on Josef Schusteritsch, who was short-stacked in the big. Schusteritsch had 2,700,000 behind and thought long and hard before opting to call off.

Josef Schusteritsch: K6 All in
Jamie Dwan: 109

Schusteritsch got it in good and improved to two pair on the 688 flop. Unfortunately for him, the 10 appeared on the turn to give Dwan a better two pair with a flush draw to boot.

The 2 river was of no consequence and Schusteritsch took his leave from the tournament in fifth place.
