Why Will Givens Has Been Absent with a Big Stack Deep in WSOP Main Event

Level 26 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Will Givens bagged a big stack on Day 5 in the WSOP Main Event, but he was mysteriously absent when play resumed Saturday morning.

It was a bit strange to see an empty chair this deep in the biggest tournament in the world, where the remaining players were playing for potentially millions of dollars. But Givens, a Will Kassouf of sorts at the poker table, had something better to do than arrive on time, he told PokerNews. Apparently, he can't crush it on the felt without the proper nutrition. More specifically, avocado toast.

Vaitiekunas Takes it

Level 25 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Daniel Rezaei opened from the button, and Paulius Vaitiekunas in the big blind made the call.

Both players checked through the 9JQ flop.

On the 4 turn, Vaitiekunas bet 1,200,000, which Rezaei called.

The river saw the K, and Vaitiekunas continued for 900,000, which was too much for Rezaei as he mucked his hand, conceding the pot to Vaitiekunas.

Rezaei Kings Kenney

Level 25 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Daniel Rezaei limped the small blind and Bryn Kenney checked his option from the big to bring about a flop of 7Q5.

Rezaei check-called a bet of 425,000 and then check-called one of 1,350,000 on the Q turn.

When the K completed the board on the river, action went check-check and Rezaei said, "King."

He then tabled the K10 and it was good as Kenney sent his cards to the muck.

Timur Margolin raised to 1,400,000 from the cutoff, and Bryn Kenney called on the button to see the 9A2 flop.

Both players checked the flop, and the 4 landed on the turn. Margolin then moved all in for around 900,000, and Kenney quickly made the call.

Timur Margolin: QQAll in
Bryn Kenney: A10

Margolin needed a queen on the river to stay alive, but the 5 completed the board instead. Kenney's pair of aces held up, eliminating Margolin and adding more chips to his growing stack.

Margolin Burns Last Two Time Extensions Debating What to Do

Level 25 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

Daniel Rezaei raised to 750,000 from the small blind and Timur Margolin defended the big to see a flop of 426.

Rezaei led out for 575,000, Margolin called, and then both players checked the 3 turn.

When the 5 completed the board on the river, Rezaei bet enough to put Margolin, who had 2,400,000 behind, all-in if he opted to call.

Margolin had two time extensions remaining and used them both before ultimately releasing his hand.

Kenney Flushes Out a Double

Action folded to the blinds, with Timur Margolin completing from the small blind and Bryn Kenney checking his option in the big blind. Margolin led for 300,000 on the K10A flop, and Kenney made the call.

The 6 fell on the turn, and Margolin continued for 1,150,000. Kenney called once more.

The 3 completed the board, and Margolin moved all in, putting Kenney at risk. After taking one last look at his cards, Kenney made the call.

Margolin tabled 87x for a missed gutshot, while Kenney revealed Q5 for a flush, earning him the double-up.
